In this video, we dive into a common question: Is investing in real estate for rental income worth it in India?

Meet Suresh, who wants to build a house and add extra floors for rental income. Then there’s Kumar, who’s planning to buy an apartment in Hyderabad with hopes of renting it out until he relocates. Both are seeking passive income – a financial strategy popularized by Robert Kiyosaki in *Rich Dad Poor Dad*. But does it work the same way here in India?

We'll cover the concept of rental yield and walk through calculations, including gross and net rental yields. Learn why real estate may not always offer the highest returns, especially when comparing the rental yield in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, to other investment avenues like mutual funds and fixed deposits.

Plus, find out why real estate investments in India differ from the U.S., where Kiyosaki's insights may be more applicable. And for those near retirement, rental income can be a valuable asset for financial stability.

Make sure to watch until the end for insights that could impact your real estate investment decisions in India.

  4. Bangalore has so many properties that yield 10 to 12% rental yield. My friend constructed a 5 floor building by spending 1 CR and his rental income is 1.08 L per month. Industry rental yield numbers you mentioned like 4.5% are for apartments, which are not a good investment for rental purpose. But multi storied independent house is very good for rentals in Bangalore

  5. Rentals increase every year by 5-10%. కనీసం 5% హైక్ తీసుకున్నా 10 years లో 160% increase అవుతుంది. Rental income తో పాటు మీ ప్రాపర్టీ వాల్యూ కూడా appriciate అవుతుంది. It also like compounding effect like SIP. ఇంకా ఆ ఏరియాలో రియల్ ఎస్టేట్ బూమ్ వస్తే ఇంకా ఎక్కువనే ఎక్సపెక్ట్ చెయ్యొచ్చు…

  6. Property value ante land construction calculate cheyyala or only construction value calculate cheyyala sir
